Outreach Programs

 

The Passavant family recognizes the importance of heightening the communities’ awareness of good health which can be reached through educational programs offered in churches, schools, senior centers and organizations in the region.  Passavant Hospital Foundation steps forward to develop health and wellness-related educational programs which consist of seminars, lectures and support group sessions, all of which are free of charge and offered in collaboration with UPMC Passavant. 

 

The Foundation’s programs include a mixture of other outreach activities such as the participation in the UPMC Passavant Services of Remembrance, then producing and mailing complimentary audio CD recordings to families attending the services; working with school district professionals and parents in planning outreach events in the community, schools and community health fairs and working with local politicians in senior health expos, veterans events, and more.
