is honored to announce that the

Hospital’s Chapel

will be Re-Dedicated on

Friday, December 2nd, 4:30 - 5:00 p.m.

All are invited to join the ceremony

The Chapel’s refurbishments were made possible through generous donations by

Passavant Hospital Auxiliary, UPMC Passavant, &

John Baverso, AIA - Avanti Architecture

During the past 14 weeks, the Hospital’s 40-year old Chapel underwent extensive refurbishments.  This project included:  removing and replacing the pews with new cherry wood, upholstered pews and kneelers; installing new floor coverings; installing new sound system; updating lighting; repairing broken stained glass windows and replacing exterior clear window glass with UV radiation protection glass; restoring all wood surfaces including the alter, pulpit, and wall paneling; repainting ceiling; replacing exterior bell tower and reconnecting chimes; and much more.

Through the Cain Family’s generous gift, a new Carillon System will soon be installed, replacing an older system no longer in working order.
