This conference provided attendees with the most current information on research, education and services. The Passavant Hospital Foundation partnered with organizations that specialize in helping individuals with autism, including AHEADD (Achieving in Higher Education with Autism/Developmental Delays), Autism Speaks, Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC, ABOARD (The Advisory Board on Autism and Related Disorders), and The Watson Institute. This two day conference offered a wealth of information on all aspects of autism from early childhood through adulthood. It allowed attendees, no matter where they were in their journey with autism, to be guided toward maximizing the potential of the individual with autism in their lives.
